Given the price of the product, I’m very disappointed.Įxcellent reproduction! Solid and well made. I had to do a lot of manipulating to get it to align properly. The hand guard did not align very well at all. I haven’t fired the rifle yet but have concerns that it will collapse when firing. The folding stock doesn’t stay lock in when in extended mode and easily collapses. 5 Item appears to be in good shape and working order.Since this is a ' just for fun' think I am not too concerned, but it might give me problems at the range. Other than the fit, the only other comment is that the floding stock does not lock very well, and is quite wobbly. I went from very happy to very disappointed. Not sure that I can do anything about it now, since I stained it. When I went to put the carbine in, I could not get the barrel band spring to line up with the hole in the barrel band. I stained it, then applied a couple coats of BLO. I wanted to get it looking good and installed ASAP. Posted by donald a gilbert on Jul 31st 2020 Staining may be required for the best match. On the odd chance someone has one they'd be willing to part with, would like to buy a polymer stock for M1 Carbine. Not totally surprised, you get what you pay for. Little disappointed, stock would not lock open, had to sand and cut back top forend to fit.
